Before they became exceptional teachers, our teachers were exceptional learners.
When it comes to teachers, we’re picky. And we’re okay with that. We only hire dedicated professionals who embrace our philosophy and strengthen our curriculum. Our teachers are highly trained and experienced in early childhood education. Each brings a unique strength to the learning environment. And each receives continuing education to ensure they are up to date with the latest information.
Let’s meet them
Jennae Sevvom
Founder and Owner
Jennae founded Harmony Preschool in 1991. But, she has taught preschool and kindergarten in Boulder for over 40 years. She remains Harmony’s owner and founder. Jennae served as a validator with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) for four years and continues to teach part time Love & Logic parenting classes at Harmony.
Since her retirement from Harmony, Jennae enjoys spending time with her two grown sons and adorable grandsons. She credits them for being her inspiration along this journey and says they have taught her more about love than she could have ever imagined.
Jennae enjoys cooking, sewing, gardening, traveling and reading. She has a healthy obsession with home remodeling and design, the Rolling Stones and Bonnie Raitt.
Abby Lindsay
Director
After receiving her Early Childhood Education Degree in Tennessee, Abby moved back to Colorado, where she has called home for much of her childhood. Abby has her directors license and has significant training in supporting children who are in critical care as well.
After being a lead teacher for several years and an assistant director for 2 and a half years, Abby has transisioned to Director of Harmony Preschool. Abby joined Harmony in the spring of 2021 as Harmony’s assistant director. Abby’s transition into Harmony has been so smooth, it was obvious we had found the right person.
Abby is an awesome director, always organized, and prepared for the day. You’ll also find Abby to have a warm and welcoming manner with the families and children alike. Her easy and fun manner makes children feel comfortable right way.
When not working at Harmony, Abby enjoys live concerts, hiking, spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and with a soul that loves the ocean she often goes every chance she can.
Grace Miller
Lead Teacher
Grace was born and raised here in Broomfield, Colorado. She has her degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Gateway College in Ohio. Grace has recieved her Directors Lisence from the state of Colorado and joined our Harmony team in the fall of 2021. Grace has been an incredible teacher who the children have been able to connect with, trust, and learn from in so many ways. Grace has shown so much leadership in continuing to make Harmony the school that we have grown to love over the last 30 years. During Grace's free time she enjoys spending time with her dog Archie, camping, archery, and doing motorcross. Her favorite part of being a teaching is being able to watch the children grow, learn, and develop in their own unique personalities.
Jaimie Jennings
Lead Teachers
Jaimie was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelors in Geography and Special Education. With 10 years of experience working with special needs children, elementary age children and preschool children, she joined our Harmony team in fall of 2022. Jaimie's calm and loving nature made it clear that Harmony was the place for her. In her free time, she enjoys riding her recumbent tricycle, going to reggae concerts, gardening, and being outdoors. Jaimie's favorite part about teaching is being able to watch children's eyes light up when the have learned something new.
